Rugby Ethos 7’s – Meet Your Hosts!

The inaugural Rugby Ethos 7’s Tournament is being hosted by the Marin R.E.D.S. Rugby Club – a Division II Men’s Club located in Marin County, with roots going back to 1982.  Champions of Division III for the Northern California Rugby Football Union in 2010, going to the nationals in Austin, TX, the club was promoted to Division II the next season.

We draw membership from all around the Bay – from San Francsico, Walnut Creek, Sonoma, Petaluma and even San Bruno.  We are a club that likes a good game of rugby, and also a good social.  Our club takes great pride in keeping rugby traditions alive such as a good post-match social, singing, and road trips.  We also give back to the local community by providing coaching and summer touch for local youth and other charitable activities such as PlayRugbyUSA.  The club is open to all comers regardless of experience or ability – we have turned many first-timers into lifelong ruggers.
